Open Notifications to review push preferences. Device permission, category preferences, and a registered device all affect delivery. Work-related SMS also requires consent for your current phone number.
Before you begin
Control alert preferences and troubleshoot missing notifications. Sign in to the organization that assigned your work. Available pages depend on your role and onboarding status.
Step by step
- Open Notifications using the bell. Review your in-app notifications and available push settings.
- Enable the categories you want and save your preferences.
- In a supported mobile app, use Enable on this device if available and allow notifications in your device settings.
- Check device notification settings, sound settings, Focus or Do Not Disturb, and your internet connection.
- For work-related texts, review the SMS consent option in My Profile. Reply STOP or clear the consent option and save to opt out.
Common questions and troubleshooting
- A notification visible inside CrewSteps does not prove a push alert or SMS was delivered. Those channels depend on permissions and connected services.
- Browser use and native mobile push are different. If device controls are unavailable, continue using the in-app notification list.
- If you changed phone numbers, verify the new number and review consent for that number.
Open in CrewSteps Sign-in and appropriate access may be required.
